OurMemory
Your children's story, told by those who love them most.
The problem
Families capture thousands of photos, but the stories behind them get lost: no context, no voice, no emotion. Cloud galleries store files with a date — nothing preserves your child’s exact age in that moment, what you felt, or the voices of the people who love them.
The solution
A private, narrated-memory vault. Every photo becomes a complete memory: your child’s exact age (“1 year, 2 months and 3 days”), a written letter and your recorded voice. The Family Circle lets grandparents and uncles add their own version, Memory Postcards share moments beautifully, and an encrypted vault keeps documents like health records always at hand.
Why I built it
Google Photos stores files; I wanted something that treasures meaning — privacy-first, no ads, no data mining. It’s also my technical playground: an Nx monorepo with an Angular 21 webapp, an Astro landing, React Email templates and Storybook, pushed to production quality.

Challenges
A timeline that thinks in ages, not dates
Organizing media-rich memories by each child’s exact age — and keeping the timeline smooth as a family adds years of photos, letters and audio.
Privacy without friction
An end-to-end encrypted vault for sensitive documents (GDPR, EU servers) that still feels effortless to upload to, browse and preview.
